Guests will enjoy a meandering journey through aviation history while enjoying the very best Wairarapa wine and food. This event is the same on both days. Wairarapa is the region near Wellington and surrounding Masterton.

From 11.30am visitors will enjoy a fascinating tour of the Vintage Aviator (one of the world's largest privately owned collections of WWI aircraft) and Old Stick & Rudder (which comprise some classic WWII fighters) Collections.  Once the tour is completed guests will move into the George Hood Aviation Museum for a four course food & wine match lunch hosted by some of the Wairarapa regions award winning winemakers.

For those who want to really whet their appetite the opportunity exists for a 20 minute introductory membership Tiger Moth flight prior to lunch for an additional cost - price on application.

Ticket admission includes:

  • A guided tour of the Vintage Aviator and the Old Stick & Rudder collections
  • A four course food & wine match lunch hosted by some of the Wairarapa regions award winning winemakers.  Two wines will be presented with each course.
